Social workers at The National Hospital

An agreement is in place between The National Hospital and The Department of Social Services regarding access to social workers at The National Hospital. Two social workers are available at The National Hospital twice a week.

Assignments include:

- Residency payment in relation to illness
- Loss of income for patients under 67 years of age suffering af life-limiting illness.
- Rights of patients
- Help regarding applications for sick pay, residency payment, one-time expenses, aid, pension etc.

The department or the patient can themselves contact these social workers and make appointments.
